“Easy A” Blu-ray Captures + Still & Photoshoots

Hey everyone! Sorry about the lack of updates! We hope everyone has had a wonderful holiday! We’ve added a new still and blu-ray captures of “Easy A” since the last update, as well as another photoshoot picture of Aly’s Venice Magazine photoshoot and Aly’s Ok! Magazine photoshoot to the gallery. I also reorganized the photoshoots in the gallery by year. We are still a bit behind with stuff but should be all caught up by this weekend.

The People Choice Awards are tonight! Be sure to watch! “Easy A” and “Hellcats” are both nominated. Pictures of Aly will be up sometime tomorrow.

New Pictures & “Emmy” Magazine

Breaking: The CW orders full seasons of ‘One Tree Hill,’ ‘Nikita,’ and ‘Hellcats’

The pickup baton has been passed to The CW: The network has given full-season orders to rookie dramas Nikita and Hellcats, as well as venerable soap One Tree Hill.

Season to date, Hellcats has averaged 2.5 million viewers, a dramatic improvement over last season’s insta-flop A Beautiful Life. Nikita, meanwhile, stands as The CW’s second most-watched show with 3.6 million viewers — although a large chunk of that audience falls outside the net’s core 18-34 demo (hence the mini-revamp under way).

Conspicuously missing from The CW’s pickup list: Life Unexpected. The sophomore drama did, however, receive an additional script order. In other words, there’s still hope.

Aly featured in Venice Magazine

Aly is featured in Venice magazine! I’ve added a photoshoot picture to the gallery, she looks gorgeous!

With her “Hellcats” premiere on The CW and “Easy A” set for a wide theatrical release, Aly Michalka is a burning hot property right now. She definitely knows it, yet she is impressively cool about all of it. Just a nice, refreshingly articulate, stunningly beautiful, California girl, radiating with a humble self-assuredness (a by-product of her loving family support system), and a confidence earned from a considerable collection of outstanding show business achievements. There are no big ego issues. No bitchy attitude problems. No diva behavior. No carousing at clubs or cavorting on red carpets. Aly Michalka would rather focus on her art.

When did you know that you wanted to make a living as a performer? I had been acting in plays when I was very young and also doing a lot of role-playing stuff with my sister just for fun. When I was about nine years old, I got the idea that I wanted to do all this on a big level. Be in movies. Play concerts. When you are nine, you’re not old enough to take any of the realities into consideration, to think that maybe you can’t or won’t be able to do something. So you just think big and go for something big! [laughs]
